Аннотация
Исследованы количественные показатели развития батометрического зоопланктона в период перестройки муссонных течений в северо-западной части Индийского океана. По средним показателям развития микрозоопланктона (2,2·106 экз·м-2 и 2.0 г·м-2) исследуемую акваторию следует отнести к мезотрофным водам. Максимальные его количества были приурочены к областям вихревых циклонических образований, а минимальные — к зонам устойчивого опускания вод. Наибольшие количества организмов обнаружены на глубине 50—75 м над слоем максимальных градиентов плотности. Во всем районе наиболее массовыми из всех рассмотренных групп суммарного зоопланктона являлись ювенальные стадии ракообразных.
Аннотация (alternative)
Quantitative indices of bathometric zooplankton development are studied in the period of the monsoon current shifting in the north-western part of the Indian Ocean. Average indices of microzooplankton development (2.2·106 specimens·m-2 and 2.0 g·m-2) permit attributing the studied water area to mesotrophic waters. Spatial distribution of microzooplankton is, to a considerable extent, determined by hydrometeorological conditions. Maximum microzooplankton amounts are confined to the areas of eddy cyclonic formations sometimes shifted with respect to the eddy centres, and minimum amounts-to the zones of stable water sinking. A distinct relation is found between the vertical distribution of microzooplankton and water stratification, the highest amounts of organisms are detected at the 50-75 m depth over the layer of maximum density gradients. In the whole region the juvenile stages of crustaceans are most numerous of all the studied groups of total zooplankton, which apparently evidences for the intensive reproduction of their populations in the period of observations.
