| dc.description | The analysis of benthos within the abiotic subdivisions of the bottom permits one to detail differentiation of communities by dominant species, obtain additional data on the relation of benthic organisms to environmental factors and on this basis objectivize boundaries of communities, interpolate and extrapolata results obtained from the benthos investigation based on physical-geographical conditions. In the future this will allow different-scale maps of the benthic population to be compiled. | en_US |
