Description
In the three different regions of the underwater mountains of the Indian Ocean we observed, that although myctophids are not shoal fishes, they form aggregations composed of individuals of the same species of similar sizes in the night-time. The indices of aggregation for the four mass species were calculated. With the help of this indices, the distance between the individuals in aggregations and the distance between the aggregations were calculated.
