On the basis of the data array reanalisys (NCEP/NCAR) of monthly meridional and zonal components of the ground wind velocity for 1948-2008, the structural changes of the wind field in a tropical zone with the El Nino and La Nina events are analyzed. Consistency of El Nino and La Nina with the Intertropical Convergence Zone displacements from its climatic location is considered.
