Предлагается новый метод определения объема тела у отдельных особей копепод с точностью ±5—10 %. Рассматриваются различные формулы связи объема и линейных размеров тела при «кубическом» и «аллометрическом» росте рачков. Объем тела W копепод предлагается вычислять при помощи коэффициентов пропорциональности между W длиной lc и шириной dc головогруди. У 20 исследованных видов Кc = 0,584±0,057. Коэфициенты Кc, рассчитанные для 68 видов по данным других авторов, оказались примерно такими же: 0,56±0,03 — у самок и 0,58±0,01 — у самцов. Они постоянны и на копеподитных стадиях развития. Применение коэффициентов Кc позволяет вычислять биомассу большинства видов копепод с точностью ±15%.
Аннотация (alternative)
A new method is suggested for determining the body volume in certain copepod individuals with 5-10% accuracy. Regression equations are considered which describe the body volume-linear-dimensions relation. The volume (W) of copepods is suggested to be calculated using a coefficient of propertionality between W and length (lc) and width (dc) of the cephalothorax from the formula: W = Kclcdc2. For twenty species under study Kc = 0.534±0.057. The coefficients Kc calculated from data of other authors (68 species) proved to be approximately the same: 0.56±0.03 (in females) and 0.58±0.01 (in males). They are constant at copepodide developmental stages as well. Application of Kc = coefficient permits calculating biomass of most copepod species with a ±15% accuracy.
