| dc.description | Studies have been made on seasonal dynamics of the activity oi the thyroid in Sprattus sprattus phalericus, Engraulis encrasicholus, Trachurus mediterraneus ponticus, Odontogadus merlangus euxinus as revealed from morphological and morphometric criteria. No relationship was found between the activity of the thyroid and the degree of gonadal maturity; no positive correlation was confirmed with temperature and photoperiod. It is suggested that seasonal changes in the thyroid function are subjected to the dynamics of locomotor activity, which is associated with breeding and feeding. Significant differences were found in morphological indices of the activity of the thyroid in fishes with different feeding patterns. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | В работе прослежена сезонная динамика функциональной активности щитовидной железы у черноморских шпрота Sprattus sprattus phalericus Risso, хамсы Engraulis encrasicholus L., ставриды Trachurus mediteraneus ponticus Aleev и мерланга Odontogadus merlangus euxinus (Nordman), определенная по морфологическим и морфометрическим критериям. Показано отсутствие связи активности тиреоидной системы со стадиями зрелости гонад, не подтверждена положительная корреляция с температурой и фотопериодом. Предполагается, что сезонные колебания в тиреоидной функции подчинены динамике двигательной активности, сопровождающей размножение и нагул. Выявлены значительные различия в морфологических показателях активности щитовидной железы у рыб с различным способом питания. | en_US |
