| dc.description | 38 parasitic species have been found. in the Patagonian toothfish Dissostichus eleginoides from the Falkland-Patagonian shelf, off South Georgia Island and Ob and Lena Banks in the Indian Ocean. The greatest majority of them (36) are helminths, most of them have a complex life history (91,7%). Composition of the toothfish parasitofauna to a large extent depends on that of fish front the same distribution area. The toothfish parasitofauna is especially rich in the centre of the species origin and distribution, i. e. in the Falkland-Patagonian and South Georgia areas. The high similarity of parasitofauna of the toothfish from different areas separated by extensive spaces and abyssal depths is indicative of their genetic relationship. It can be explained by the distributional, peculiarities of the species in the main Antarctic circumpolar current. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | На Фолклендско-Патагонском шельфе, у о-ва Южная Георгия и на банках Обь и Лена Индийского океана у патагонского клыкача Dissostichus eleginoides найдено 38 видов паразитов, среди которых преобладают гельминты (36) со сложным жизненным циклом (91,7%). Состав. паразитофауны клыкача в значительной степени зависит от фауны паразитов рыб района его обитания. Наиболее богата она в Фолклендско-Патагонском и Южногеоргианском районах — центре возникновения и расселения этой рыбы. Большое сходство паразитофауны клыкача из разных частей ареала, разделенных огромными пространствами и абиссальными глубинами, свидетельствует об их генетической связи. Эта связь стала возможной в результате особенностей расселения клыкача, которое происходило в основном потоке Антарктического циркумполярного течения. | en_US |
