| dc.description | Research in the field of marine phytoplankton ecology with application of the method of principal components is analyzed. The method is shown applicable for a concise description of dynamics of complex (with variable structure) ecosystems of stochastic character. Problems for whose solution the method of principal components was applied are as follows: selection of the optimal number of characters when designing empiric models of planktonic ecosystems; study of the environmental effect on changes in structural and functional phytoplankton groupings; analysis of results of observations for long-term prediction of alterations in marine phytoplankton associations. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Проанализированы работы в области экологии морского фитопланктона, использующие статистический метод главных компонент. Показано, что данный метод применим для сжатого описания динамики сложных, с изменяющейся структурой экосистем, имеющих стохастический характер. Перечислены задачи, для решения которых применяется метод главных компонент: отбор оптимального числа признаков при построении эмпирических моделей планктонных экосистем; изучение влияния условий внешней среды на изменение структурных и функциональных группировок фитопланктона; анализ результатов многолетних наблюдений с целью долгосрочного прогнозирования изменений, происходящих в морских фитопланктонных сообществах. | en_US |
