A simple method is suggested for determining specific production of planktonic Copepoda. This method is based on identification of dimensional Copepoda groups by means of bolters of different density and on their exposure to natural environment for several days. The values of specific gain are obtained for six dimensional groups of Calanoida and Cyclopoida naplii in the Tunis strait of the Mediterranean Sea in March of 1982.
