| dc.description | Suspended organic carbon distribution is analyzed in the north-western part of the Mediterranean Sea. The amount of the carbon in the surface layer varied from 36 to 179 µg C/l. An essential decrease in the suspension concentration at depths more than 50 m is marked in its vertical distribution. Suspended organic carbon is shown to correlate with the amount of mineral phosphorus. Analysis of large-scale distribution of suspended organic carbon in the surface layer have shown that high concentrations of the suspension were observed in the north-eastern and south-western parts of the testing ground which is in agreement with the region hydrological peculiarities. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Проведен анализ распределения взвешенного органического углерода на севере Алжиро-Прованского бассейна. Содержание взвешенного органического углерода в поверхностном слое изменялось от 36 до 179 мкг С/л. В вертикальном распределении взвеси отмечено, резкое снижение ее концентраций на глубинах, превышающих 50 м. При анализе крупномасштабного распределения взвешенного органического углерода в поверхностном слое, отмечено наличие высоких концентраций взвеси в северо-восточной и юго-западной частях полигона, что согласуется с гидрологическими особенностями района. | en_US |
