| dc.description | A new method is described for comparing the toxicity of different substances. A test animal group is led through a series of concentrations of a substance. This allows determination of effective concentrations for each organism and average effective concentration. The latter is a criterion of toxicity. The method demands fewer test animals and gives more exact results than other procedures. | en_US |
