| dc.description | The juvenile specimen of the blue whiting (Micromesistius poutassou) is found in the Black Sea near the Crimean Southern coast for the first time. Its morphological characteristics are described. The blue whiting is the oceanic stenohaline fish and finding of this species in the Black Sea is unique due to the low water salinity (18‰). | en_US |
