Attachment to the plant for concentrating phytoplankton by means of the reverse filtration hopper which automatically ceases filtration prior to the moment when the last portion of water flows through the hopper and signals on the filtration finishing by either light or sound signal is described. Application of the attachment releases the experimentor from operation control of the plant during filtration and increases efficiency of operation under expedition conditions.
