Description
Pineal organ functional activity variations are estimated resulting from rainbow trout (Salmo irideus) exposition under the different illumination regimes (L:D — 12:12; 24:0; 0:24) that caused variations in skin pigmentation, leukocyte formula, rate of somatic growth, degree of gonadal maturation, also — schooling, photo- and reotaxis. Experiments have shown definitely the role of pineal organ in the regulation of organism's life cycle as a whole.
