Description
3 new taxa of the genus Golfingia are described. Dushana subgen. n. Shields оп both the ends of the trunk; introvert in the center of the anterior shield, nearer to the ventral side; 4 retractor muscles; 1 dorsal retractor fuses with the ventral one fully or partially; longitudinal muscle layer smooth; contractile vessel simpe, without bifurcation. 2 species. Type-species: Colfingia scutiger (Roule, 1907). G. (D.) adriatica sp.n. from: the Adriatic Sea. Shields distinct on the anterior and posterior body ends; introvert with 5—6 rows of hooks; right dorsal retractor fused fully with the right ventral one; 30 transverse dissepiments attached to the coelomic body surface. G. (Phascoloides) cutleri sp. n. from the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Body length exceeds its width 9—30 times; thin transparent introvert distinctly separated from the trunk by narrow constriction; distal quarter of introvert armed with hooks 0.022--0.17 mm in height; 2 retractor muscles. G. (G.) elongata abyssalis ssp. n. from the Pacific. It differs from the nominative form in the following feature: introvert 1/5 of trunk length; papillae on the trunk absent; trunk length exceeds its width 16 times; introvert hook 0.025—0.030 mm in. height, scattered irregularly.
