Yearly dynamics of the structure and the components of energy budget of Mytilus galloprovincialis population in the Sevastopol Bay had been studied. The variability of bioenergetic processes rates (consumption, respiration) during the year is due to temperature. About 50 % of energy consumed by the mussel population are assimilated; 89 % of it are used for the maintenans of population and 11 % — оп the production. The productive energy is equal 5,2 % of the total production. The low values of net growth efficiency and gamets production of M. galloprovincialis are the result of the bay pollution.
