Changes are shown in the eutrophication level whose increase resulted from intensification of pollutions introduced by rivers into the north-western part of the Black Sea. Fauna rearrangements in limans caused by changes in the limans hydrology due to changes in river runoff are considered. Ecological situation in the sea littoral zone discussed in connection with development of works for coast stabilization.
