Description
Some aromatic carbohydrates of petroleum origin have been determined in the Black-Sea mussels of the chronically polluted region. Among them the most toxic carbohydrates - the benzene compounds and polycyclic aromatic compounds (carcinogenes) are found. Besides, studies have shown that the HPLC method permits microimpurities of aromatic compounds be identified in detail and with sufficient accuracy.
