Actinocyclus ehrenbergii — вид с простым типом онтогенеза, который сводится к обычному чередованию вегетативной и репродуктивной фаз. Ауксоспорообразование осуществляется в два этапа, которые разделяет период вегетативного роста культуры. Установлены особенности онтогенетического цикла водоросли в культуре и ее распространение в море. Индикатором приближающегося ауксоспорообразования (3a 2- 3 нед до его начала) может служить появление в культуре сильно пигментированных клеток.
Аннотация (alternative)
The author determines the duration of vegetative and reproductive phases of ontogeny and studies the peculiarities of auxospore formation in the marine diatom alga, Ac. ehrenbergii Ralis. It is found that the given alga has a simple type of ontogeny with a usual alternation of vegetative and reproductive phases. Auxospore formation has two stages; an asynchronous transition of cells to sexual reproduction is noted, that leads to a considerable elongation of this process in time. An appearance of strongly pigmented elongated cells may serve as the first sign of the approaching renewal of culture of the studied alga.
