Observations of P. lobata biologi — one of components of the Saccocirrus sand biocoensis of Sevastopol bay — had been carried for the first time. This species had been met at the temperature of 5—24 °C reaching a maximal density of 123 ind/100 cm3 and the largest body length 7,8 mm. At the laboratory in the conditions simulating natural ones cocoons production began when the worm had the age two months, a body length 4,1 mm. The incubation time varied from 16—22 days during summer-autumn season. P. lobata is a typical predator ingesting mainly some small benthic Crustacea. The mean daily ration of juvenile worms weighing 0,13 mg and having length of 2,2 mm was 0,49 mg, the adult triclads of 4,5 mm length, weighing 0,53 mg it was 0,92 mg. In laboratory experiments the maximum longevity of the P. lobata life had been equal 405 days, the size of the largest specimen being 8,3 mm.
