Thus far A. tentaculata was found only in the region of Long-Island (New York) in amount of 2 specimens (Treadwell, 1941). 19 specimens of A. tentaculata were found in the Black Sea at the Caucasus shore at the depth of 16-28 m, on small sized broken cockle-shell and on silt with large sized shell; 5 specimens were found in the Red Sea, at the depths of 50 and 64 m, on silt.
