Изучены количественные соотношения продолжительности актов в локомоторной активности у восьми видов морских планктонных копепод. Использованы два режима содержания особей (самок): пищевая среда (смесь растительной и животной пищи при их суммарной концентрации 2-3 мг/л) и содержание без пищи. Показано, что в локомоторной активности самок большинства изученных видов продолжительность пассивной фазы преобладает над активной. По отношению к пище представители изученных видов разделены на группы, различающиеся характером изменения временного строения локомоторной активности.

Changes in time of the locomotory activity of 8 species of copepods from the Black and Mediterranean Seas and the Indian Ocean were studied. Two food regimens of maintenance of the animals (females) were used — without supply (water filtered through a membrane filter Nr. 5) or with it (plant and animal nutrient mixture concentration 2 to 3 mg per 1). Locomotory activities of the species under study were shown to be different with regard the act pattern and duration. The character of coordination of the acts with respect to their duration was invariable regardless the absence or presence of the food supply. In locomotory activites of females of the majority of the species studied, the passive phase was longer than the active one. As to the food, in the animals in question groups distinguishable in the character of locomotory activities’ changes in time were found.
