A new variant of Golfingia vulgaris var. antarctica var. nov. differing from the typical form and its known variants by the height of the hooks and papillae is described. The species Golfingia confusa (Sluiter) (?) is found in the Antarctic waters for the first time.
For the species Golfingia minuta (Kef.), Golfingia anderssoni (Theel) and variant Golfingia margaritacea (Sars) var. trybomi (Theel) the ranges of their vertical and horizontal distribution are expanded.
