Аннотация
Исследованы рост и возраст массового для тропической Атлантики светящегося анчоуса Ceratoscopelus warmingii. В микроструктуре отолитов выявлено наличие трех зон роста, соответствующих основным этапам онтогенеза. Отложение в отолитах ежесуточных отметок роста позволяет определить возраст рыб и оценить с помощью метода обратных расчислений темп роста в течение их жизни. Установлено, что период личиночного развития (до завершения метаморфоза) у C. warmingii необычно продолжителен для миктофид - 2,5 мес; половое созревание происходит в возрасте 7,3-8 мес, при длине тела 51-54 мм. Низкая величина удельной суточной соматической продукции (в среднем 0,0125 за 15 мес жизни) компенсируется высокой для тропических миктофид продолжительностью жизни - до 2 лет и более.
Аннотация (alternative)
The age and growth of the lanternfish, Ceratoscopelus warmingii, a mass species in the tropical Atlantic, were studied. Fish age was determined on the base of otoliths structure and length-frequency data. Three growth zones corresponding the main ontogenesis stages were identified in the otoliths of C. warmingii. The growth rate and growth patterns during the life span of the fish was back-calculated from the daily deposition rate of the increments in sagittal otoliths. It was determined that the period of the larval development (up to the end of metamorphosis) of the studied species is unusually prolonged for myctophids species - 2,5 months. The fish with SL 51-54 mm at the 7,3-8 months age were found sexually matured. Low specific daily production (mean 0,0125 for 15 months) of C. warmingii is compensated by the unusually long for the tropical myctophids life span - 2 years and more.
