Horsehair worms (Nematomorpha) are a phylum of parasitic aschelminthes, whose systematics remains unclear. The identification keys available permit only formal division of many species. We used molecular methods based on analysis of nucleotide sequences and NGS data that ensured new possibilities in systematics of this group with a deficit of distinct morphological features.
