Аннотация
Based on the of nucleic sequence analysis 18S rDNA the taxonomic status Scenedesmus rubescens (strain IBSS - IPPAS D-292) is corrected. Data characterizing the features of secondary carotenogenesis (population dynamics, size of cells, total content of carotenoids, the secondary carotenoids composition and content of the main components of dry matter (protein, carbohydrates and lipids)) in cells and cultures of green microalgae Scenedesmus rubescens when grown by the method of two-stage batch culture are obtained.
